The project

A well-designed mixed-use building changes the whole block. 140 Main Street combines street-level presence with a residential courtyard.

The approach

I photographed it from three positions: the street, the air, and inside the courtyard. That shows how the building meets the sidewalk, how it sits in the neighborhood, and what residents come home to. The dusk shots keep the verticals true and the color accurate, and they're timed so the lit windows stand out.

The result

The images give the developer material for leasing, investor updates and future entitlement presentations.
